I purchased three hives and upon releasing the queens a few days later, found one was missing entirely. I called but the staff were unhelpful and couldnβt help and was told to email the owner. I emailed as soon as possible (I had a personal situation that made it difficult to immediately reach out) about obtaining a replacement and instead of simply offering a solution, was accused of negligence. Clearly two of the queens were present and fine so accusing me of letting the bees starve (all hives were given pollen patties and sugar syrup upon their placement in the hives.) was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I had actually attempted to purchase bees from them before and the shipment was delayed (clearly uncontrollable for this business) but the communications from the owner were long, rambling and then became contradictory as she began changing the pick up process multiple times in a day. We just canceled the order so this was the second chance. So yet again, instead of simply answering my request to obtain a new queen, I received a condescending response, questioning my ability to care for bees (Iβve been doing this for 8 years and have released hives before). Hi ... gratitude to Eric and to the whole Wardle team! My family's now 3-week-old chicks are SO BEAUTIFUL, and they continue to thrive. And I so appreciate all the new guidance and info I now have in my brain thanks to the AMAZING class on chicken care (we're not total newbies but always more to learn ... I overloaded Eric with lots of questions, and he was ready for them all with clearly years of experience, and a wonderful mixture of common sense and science-based success to his credit). Thank you, thank you!!

I had been going to Wardle for quite a long time and have gotten several chickens there, along with other items. Recently we purchased two chickens from them and they are a bit crazy and not as docile as the others. They actually eat their own eggs as well as the other chickens' eggs. I reached out to the store and received a response that they essentially don't believe me and that I am crap out of luck. There are other stores I will happily go to from now on.

Iβve had nothing but a positive experience at Wardle. Shawn, Mark, and Jennifer have all been so helpful during this time of year and for our first time of being chick owners. We came highly recommended to Wardle and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase chicks or is needing any feed or supplies. Jennifer has been so helpful over email and Facebook with responding back to messages within the same day or within 24 hours and she has given me the resources I have needed to thrive being a first time chick owner. Shawn and Mark have been very helpful in actually getting the chicks to me. They helped us get the ones that were high egg layers and gave us updates on when the chicks were coming. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful and we have 11 thriving chicks now all from Wardle. They even offer beginner chicks zoom classes for new chicks owners to sign up for. They offer a brooder box with all the supplies youβll need for set up and start up, and they are always there when you need them. Easy to find and get to down in Wheat Ridge. Thanks for everything Wardle!! We will continue coming back and thanks again for everything! We love our new little babies!
